x + 2y    = 4_____ (1) × 2
2x + 3y    = 6_____ (2)
2x + 4y    = 8_____ (3)
x + 3y    = 6
On subtracting (2) from (3)
2x + 4y    = 8
2x + 3y    = 6
          y   = 2
x + 2 × 2 = 4
x = 0
Point of intersection = (0, 2)
Line passes through point (0, 2)
& perpendicular to 3x – y = 2
Y = 3x – 2
m1 = 3
For perpendicular lines
m1m2 = – 1
3 × m2 = –1
m2 = (-1)/3
Eqn of line:-
y = m2x + c
y = – x/3 + c
2 = o + c
c = 2
y = – x/3 + 2
3y + x    = 6
x intercept y = 0
